Publication Rules

  • Include all relevant co-authors who contributed to the work.

  • Comply with the local publication rules at your institute and the institutes of the co-authors.

  • Always cite:
    1. Overview article: "M Hoelzl, GTA Huijsmans, SJP Pamela, M Becoulet, E Nardon, FJ Artola, B Nkonga, et al. Nuclear Fusion 61, 065001 (2021)"
    2. Most recent JOREK review article: "M Hoelzl, N Schwarz, GTA Huijsmans, FJ Artola, D Hu, G Su, E Nardon, N Isernia, P Rac, A Cathey, M Kong et al. Nuclear Fusion 66, 116006 (2026)"
    3. Relevant prior works you directly build upon (see CITATION.cff and the JOREK public website).

  • Preprints: Send preprints (abstracts, slides, posters, manuscripts) to jorek-preprint@jorek.eu before submission to ensure community awareness and compliance verification.

  • The JOREK logo is available for use in posters and slides in different formats and versions.
